Have you ever been to the Gayer Anderson house, kamar? it's opposite the Ibn Al Touloun mosque (hope I've got the name right)....

I've been there a couple of times, I really like it.

PS There's a very nice little shop across the road, fixed prices :thumleft:

Don't worry about it, I'm confused about a lot of things :(

I think Cairo's just one of those places, you could go there a hundred times and STILL feel like you haven't really seen everything there is to see......

I feel like I've had my fill of the Pyramids and the museums and all the tourist trail stuff like that, and I've never been all that interested in Egyptology anyway.....it's modern Egypt that I think is so fascinating, I just love sitting people watching 8) and I love places like the Gayer Anderson Museum, where people actually lived....even though it wasn't an Egyptian who lived there, it's still an insight into the way it was.
