The Egyptian Parliament has refused to allow the cast of the television drama “Sikat Al Halali”, starring Egyptian actor Yahia Al Fakharani, to film a number of scenes inside the Parliament building.
Director Mohammad Fadel instead requested the producers build a set that resembles the main hall of Parliament to film five scenes.
Yahia revealed that despite the Parliament’s refusal and the delay it has caused, all the scenes will be shot in time to air it during the holy month of Ramadan. It is said that 15 satellite television channels have signed contracts to air the drama. |
