Looking at these pics, I try to guess how was Cairo in that time...I think it was marvelous, and I would be to be able to back in the past and visit Cairo in that time.

Hoss : would be great also if you can write about how was the life in Old Cairo, people, work.
You could ask about it to your family and then, to write about.
It would be really very interesting to know :wink: |

| I think I've mentioned before that my mum and dad lived in Cairo in the 1930s, for a couple of years.......and when we were growing up, every so often they'd start talking about it, and my sister and I would suddenly remember we had to be somewhere or do something, we weren't that interested....but now that they're both dead and it's too late, and I've discovered Egypt for myself, I'd so LOVE to ask them what it was like :( |
