8 people killed in the collapse of 2 separate building in Egypt.

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - Eight people were killed Monday when two separate buildings collapsed in Egypt, police said.
A four-storey building collapsed in the eastern Cairo district of Saraya Al Qubba, killing five people and injuring several others. Thirteen people were pulled from the rubble and taken to a nearby hospital.
Three others were killed when a second building collapsed in Qalyoub, some 20 kilometres north of Cairo.
Police were investigating both cases.
Building collapses are not uncommon in Egypt and are usually blamed on shoddy construction and failure to respect building regulations.
