This is my nearest city, about an hour away.......but the population of Glasgow is only about 1million, and the whole population of scotland is only about 5 million (about a quarter of the population of Cairo  I think anyway...)

Thought it might bring back some memories for Eastern Girl..

The tutor came from Cairo, he was a lecturer in something else (can't remember what it was though).......but he did evening classes in Arabic too 8)
That was when I realised I was getting old, my memory's gone

I DID get a certificate at the end of it though.....but I think that was just for turning up every week
