Istambul is beautiful. There is so much to see: the Blue Mosque, the Sehzade Mosque, Saint Sophia Church, Topkapi and Dolmabahçe palace, some nice quarters for a walk (Fener, Balat, Ayyansaray, Pera and Galata
)
Moll you are lucky. :wink: Enjoy your trip! |

i visited turkey before , it is avery nice country , and the most wonderful are the epople themselves, they are very hosting and cheerful,
i spent 3 months there, but i was making a wonderful thing , every weekend , i take my handbag, and go to the buss station and take the first bus leaving , because i didn't know names or places,
i went to istanbul, azmir , dekeli, pamukalee, bodrum , and many other i don't recall,
istanbul is crowded, , it is more like cairo, but little bit better, but of course it is less hot than luxor. |

I love it! You must do a boat rip.. Go to Eminnono and get on a return
boat....
Comfortable shoes are a must, do the harem at the Topkapi Palace (extra ticket)... your feet will swell. if you are a light sleeper, take some ear plugs - freight moves at night and the mosques are close together! Take some duty free in with you..... its less hassle.... Dont wear shorts around any mosque. Enjoy! |
