Apart from the ACN, there are hardly any threads here on Egyptian football, and as an ecstatic Ahly fan i thought i'd just bring this to everyone's attention:
Egypt champions Ahly have set a new record in the domestic championship by completing a second successive season without being beaten. Ahly's 4-0 win over Ismaili on Monday ensured they completed the 26-match league programme 14 points ahead of runners-up and arch-rivals Zamalek.

Also has anyone heard Nancy Ajram's song Ahly w Zamalek? My Arabics really bad, but if i understood correctly (which im probably not, so am going to make a total fool out of myself :oops: :roll: ) but does she say she loves both Ahly and Zamalek? 1st she sings about how great it is to be Egyptian, now shes singing about loving Cairos greatest football team and the other Cairo club, Zamalek...correct me if i'm wrong, but isnt she Lebanese? Ah well, shes just higlighting how great it is to be Egyptian i suppose...! |

Haha, hey! It's great to find another Ahly fan here!
Egypt are playing Spain tomorow, aren't they? Does anyone know of any television stations in London showing the match? I'm getting really fustrated searching!! |
