It's small. And boring... Hey, there's no crying smile! :(
Anyway, it's a very beautiful country, very green and with many hills. It's very international too. About 40% of people living here are strangers, and many of the other Luxembourgers are cocktails, like me.
The main problem is that there's a lack of young people between 20 and 30, as most of them are studying abroad (University is still under construction), so when you go out in the evening you will feel veeeeery lonely on the streets... |

Its nice and clean there. Most people speak english, unless you get a French shop owner then the pretend not to hear you :lol: :lol: :lol:
I loved visiting there but where I live in UK it took two short plane flights, and soooooo much waiting in between.. :( :( |

My papa is a Luxembourger. I grew up in Luxembourg and since I finished my studies (in Germany) I'm living here again.
When I get more time, I can send you some pics if you want... :D
Hedgehog, when did you come to Luxembourg?
Most of my friends who came to visit me tell me it looks like dropped out of a fairytale, but after a while they add that it's too calm... |

I visited Luxembourg in 1988 and that is exactly how I remember it. A fairytale city. I thought it was beautiful! I didn't stay long enough to know if it is too calm... But it is breathtaking! |
