Umm
In February, I'm an Aquarius as I think.

How long is your hair straight or curly and what colour and colour eyes ?
Ok I'm veiled don't know if I can answer that but I will in another way :wink: , my eyes are bright light hazel , big eyes as I was told .

How many shoes and bags do you own ?
I owe lots of shoes and bags as I've a casual style, I like weird things to wear, besides scars and gloves I adore those two.

Soledad are you a teacher or a student , do you have anything to do with the AUC ?
Well, I'm still a student, and concerning the AUC, I think yes as I will have some courses there soon.

How did you find out about YE and why us and not the other forums or are you a member of other forums ?
I've never been into forums before, and I knew about this from a close friend of mine, I trust him so much so when he told me that this forum is worthy to join , I did on the same day ,someone u also know :arrow: just guesssssssss :wink: :wink: .

I study pharmacy, two years till I graduate, did u expect that kind of study? I didn't myself.

Arabic is a mother language, English, sometimes French, German is coming soon.

What happened with this love you lost ?
My love , I lost for twice, once for my girl friend, she was a blast, we used to do everything together like soul mates or something like that although we were completely different , two different lives ,different thinking, different styles of life but yet we believed in each others strongly, we even joined the same college.
But all of a sudden, this started to break down , die like a beautiful rose, we had an argument, I insisted on my point of view for 4 months , for the whole 4 months we didn't even speak or look to each others face , but then I couldn't get any longer far away from her and I asked to settle it down and we did , it worked for another year , then we had another argument , it was a simple issue , but she was shooting at me with words, lots of things that I don't even remember now, but they were hurting me so much in a way I said " I can't reply back , if u feel all of this against me , why u didn't say one at a time ? Why u waited that long? "She threatened me that If I didn't change my way of treating people and my life, so she won't be able to get along anymore with me.
Apparently I choused my life that she refused, although it is not the same without her.
Not ever the same.
About the second one , umm not much to tell, I'm crazy he isn't, I'm wild he isn't , I love extremes he doesn't, I get to know so many people because I love so , I love to be with people , strange ones' good ones' even bad ones' sometimes just to know what it would be like ,I love adventure with all the risks in the world it might held for me, he refused all that, and replaced it with logics and what should be done , not what we love to do.
I don't want to remember that anyways.

Cars !!!! ohhhhh
U touched a spot in me when u asked about cars?
Why?
Because whenever I'm feeling low or down, I do something's, lately I find out that driving is one of them, also it feels different when u owe something, it's eventually something that may be ruined or break ……., but still it is yours to care for, I feel closely related to objects that I owe, like a mobile, a car, a CD, an old paper of a memory.
Also cars r a shelter when u need a small place to sleep in anywhere, it helps.

Are you musical ?
Musical, look!!!! For me music is the feed of my soul, for all kinds, for any language, besides I wish to be a musician, because there is a piece of music I want to play by myself.

Why do you resent having an inquisitive mind ?

Every person in this life is a story himself/herself, curiosity to learn out of people's life is what I feel each time I meet interesting people, and there r many , like you and like our common friend.

Did you ever cheat death ( meaning you changed your plans at the last minute , or you had an accident but escaped unharmed ?)
I had three , two of them while I was crossing the streets , the first was while I was going to college , on my way there I tended to cross some street , but at the last moment I lifted my legs up that's when a fast car hit the car I was just near to, that car was totally crashed.
The other one was in nasr city , I was crossing the street at about 9 pm or something on my way home , that's when a sudden car was just half a meter away from me , the shock made me stand still , the driver dropped off in a hurry , he though I had a brain stroke or something like that , he kept on saying " did I hurt you? Are you ok ? why don't u reply me? Where do u live? "
All of what I said " I'm ok , don't worry " what made me not capable of saying a word Is not being sure that I'm alive !!!
The third one is a one I don't want to mention or remember , sorry winky , but it was horrible.
What can you never resist buying ?
Gifts foe others, when I meet something and imagine it as a gift for a close person to me, I buy it at once, a certain occasion is not a must.
What is the best place to be with your love in Cairo , apart from bed ?

First of all I liked what you wrote about yourself .

:( The losses Soledad are painful, I can feel your pain of losing your friend, its tough and no it will never be the same again.
Its one of life's lessons none of us escapes learning, some of us far too soon . :(

:) You are outgoing, you make contact easily, so hopefully you will find another soul mate to share your joy with, although this intimacy you have in your teens... :? I am not sure if you will experience that again, its a special close relationship and now the next time you will be more cautious since you do not want to get so hurt again .

Sometimes I am thinking a person is like a house, in the beginning all your doors and windows are open, everybody is welcome , but over the years you have to close more and more of them in the end will you just have a peephole ? :(

And your love ....does not sound like he was much fun .. well it was not to be.. but then again put it down to experience, never mind you are crazy and wild, some very serious unadventurous men are attracted to that, since they admire it, missing it them selves, wishing they could be like that.

:shock: Pharmacy, Well Soledad I do not know you yet very well :) I know its a pretty tough study, one of my sisters studied it , it would not be my choice but do :arrow: You enjoy it so far ?

Loads of bags and shoes .. same here :lol: Those are the only things which I do not find stressful to buy LOL

OK Soledad what you have with cars ... I do not.....
I love driving mine but I am not attached to it, also it gives a false sense of security, :!: its a dangerous weapon in the wrong hands , to be treated with respect.

When I was still very inexperienced and feeling invincible in my powerful car ,I had an accident, it only involved me and my car but I drove Far too fast down a hill in the Sultanate Oman and at the bottom I hit sand which had blown on the ( beach) road and it made me spin my car 3 times, in the end I was lucky to escape unhurt ,my car ended up on the beach , it was night time, it took 3 landrovers the next day to pull it out of the sand . It taught me an important lesson.

So if you like to own something , what about a pet ?

8) Soledad when I was slightly younger then you I had just lost my best friend and boyfriend in one go and my parents were living in the Philippines + I was living in a new town so did not know many people yet .

:( I felt very lonely but could not keep any pets since I had a job or I would have bought a dog I am a dog lover, grew up with dogs.

but I needed something badly to look after, so I bought an aquarium and ... a turtle :lol:

I put about 5 cm of water in the aquarium and some big pebbles which he loved to climb up on when the sun was shining , taking the sun with his eyes closed and what was funny is that he would yawn !!!

Every evening when I came home I would feed him and if he was on his rock and saw me he would quickly get in the water and swim to the edge he would take the food of my finger , then I would take him out and let him clamber over me, tickling me with his little sharp feet.

8) I had him for about 2 years , he had grown allot and I was really attached to him but just called him sweety and such . I was a sufferer of asthmatic bronchitis and was asked by the specialist if I kept any pets ? Turned out, that he had to go, apparently they are carriers of allergens . :(

:) By that time I was not lonely anymore, still it was no fun to bring him away.He was accepted in the zoo, so for him it was much better .

well, u did experience much more places than what i had , but if it's up to me , i would like to spend the feast vacation with YOU 8)
(That brings me to the question of where would you like to travel to first, if time and money was no object ?)
two places:
first , i can't wait till me and my next coming love choose our place, our special place, i wonder more about it than ever.
second: france-paris, city of passion, u see love in people's eyes, runs with elegency and a style, city of inspiration, sure the country there is fascinating.

:) Soledad if you do not mind me giving a little advice about traveling, I would like to say, always do your home work before you go to a place , it will contribute hugely to your enjoyment and will keep unpleasant surprises to a minimum.

8) It will be so exciting to go for the first time ! I read that its the most scenic part of the Egyptian coast and the Pharaoh island is recommended to visit.

:) One of the things I insist on adding to the booking form is a quiet room away from traffic or music noise,now they can not guarantee it, but they make a note and then at the hotel you will have to mention it again but they will then do their best to get you one .

8) I stayed In Sheraton Cairo I got a room between to buildings overlooking the swimming pool on the right and the view of the split of the Nile on the right .. absolutely gorgeous ... and never heard a peep.

The Zoo:
Khedive Ismail imported into Egypt one of the finest collection of flowers, exotic plants and trees from India, Central Africa and South America. A survivor is the zoo's giant banyan planted around 1871

Apart from the animals I would like to wander around the Harem garden, I have designed and created quite a few gardens and so would be interested to see these gardens .
The Cairo Zoo is one of the oldest and largest in the World
