:) Poppy,
How nice to meet you in YE :)
8) There are many things I already like about you.
First and foremost your sense of humour, its funny, very different from Moll's ( who still is my top fav. funny person in YE) which automatically makes me ask you where you were born and bred , which part of the UK ? So far I have plenty of Scottish, some Welsh and ( Northern) Irish friends but none are English so I am sort of hoping you are English !
Next question of course is why Egypt ? :?
You said you were married to a Tunisian man so I wonder why not Tunisia did you ever live in Tunisia /
and do you speak Arabic ?
:!: And You studied many things you said somewhere so what were they ??
:!: You are working as a Manager in a Private British Language School, so is that your subject ? Teaching English ?
What are the typical problems you are encountering ?
JOKE;
Q: Why do teachers make the best lovers?
A: Because they make you do it over and over until you get
it right...
8) Oh I just saw you posted in the "Women seeking men Chapter" !
Poppy you are a girl after my heart !
This is what I always tell my friends when they say I would like this or that :" Well then go and get it, it usually will not come and knock on your door ! Lets hope this forum opens the door to someones heart !
Best of luck and keep us updated if something is happening please !
:) Poppy I know you live in a gated community is this for ex pats or just anyone rich enough to afford it ?
:!: What are your hobbies?
How do you like to spend your time off ??
 When you travel between towns ( Alex and Cairo for example )do you use the train or do you hire a car ?
:?: What Nationality do the majority of your friends have ? (in Alex)
:? I have seen you up very very late ( even later them me and I am an hour behind you ) so what time do you get to bed when its a working day the next day ?
What is your birth date ?
Do you enjoy listening to Arabic music and if so which are your fav singers ?
Which place ( where you haven't been yet ) do you like to visit in Egypt ?
Do you play any sports ?
Is your family planning to come and visit ?
What or who has been the greatest influence in your life ?
What is your fav book
which genre do you prefer to read ?
Are you a good cook ?
( in case a man has an eye on you )
How did you find out about YE
:) OK Poppy thats to begin with I do not want to scare you but I might have some more ..
 And finally Poppy I wonder if this is of any help to you ?
 Memo To All Students (PG)
Memo to all students : In order to assure the highest levels
of quality work and productivity from students, it will be
our policy to keep all students well taught through our
program of SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TEACHING (S.H.I.T.). We are
trying to give our students more S.H.I.T. than any other
schools. If you feel that you do not receive your share of
S.H.I.T. on the course, please see your lecturer. You will
immediately placed at the top of the S.H.I.T. list and our
lecturers are especially skilled at seeing you get all the
S.H.I.T. you can handle. Students who don't know S.H.I.T.
will be placed in DEPARTMENTAL EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION
PROGRAMS (D.E.E.P. S.H.I.T.). Those who fail to take D.E.E.P.
S.H.I.T. seriously will have to go to EDUCATIONAL ATTITUDE
TRAINING (E.A.T. S.H.I.T.). Since our lecturers took S.H.I.T.
before they graduated, they don't have to do S.H.I.T.
anymore, as they are all full of S.H.I.T. already. If you
are full of S.H.I.T., you may be intersted in a job teaching
others. We can add your name to our BASIC UNDERSTANDING
LECTURE LIST (B.U.L.L. S.H.I.T.). For students who are
attending to pursue a carrier in management and consultancy,
we will refer you to the department of MANAGERIAL OPERATIONAL
RESEARCH EDUCATION (M.O.R.E. S.H.I.T.). This course
emphasizes on how to manage M.O.R.E. S.H.I.T. If you have
further questions, please direct them to our HEAD OF TEACHING
SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING (H.O.T. S.H.I.T.)
Thank you, BOSS IN GENERAL SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING

 PUFF! PANT! Only 2 days late for the interview, does this mean i won't get the job? :?
I am half Londoner, half Welsh, with an Irish maternal grandmother!
I lived for a time in Tunisia, now in Egypt.
Began learning Tunisian Arabic, now slowly learning Egyptian.
Iv'e studied, I.T. Psychology, counselling, sociology, anthropology, history, social/political policy, english language as an international communication, Linguistics and tourism.
Main subjects, Politics, lingistics, international communication, social policy.
Main managerial probs, right now, can't get enough, fluent and reliable teachers! :?
Regarding the post 'seeking man' heheee! u will be the first to know Winky! i will invite u to my wedding. lol.
The holiday resort i frequent, ha! ha! theres no ex pats in it! only me. Its frequented in summer by Egyptians on holiday and mostly empty in winter. Except for a few local residents. I don't think u must be rich to live here. No its not just for the rich and elite! lol. :P
My hobbies are work related research. Self related academic research. Any physical exersise i have time for, swimming occasionally, aeorobics, dancing, daily long walks, shopping (got a passion for clothes, shoes and bags) 8)
world news, humanitarian/global/political/policy/government issues. analysis, equity, spiritual awareness, political truth seeking. Keeping in touch and socialising with friends, caring for my pets.
I left my car in U.K. so i go to Cairo by superjet bus which isn't often, don't much like Cairo.
My friends now seem to be all Egyptian or from Mid East countries close by. My friends here are some pretty wonderful and warm people! Its amazing how much they will go out of their way to help me, very genuine.
Ha! Ha! i don't sleep much! usually up til 12/2am even if i got work next day. Odd days i catch up sometimes sleeping 10/12 hrs about once a month from exhaustion!
My birth month is May and i am a Taurus, worse trait, according to astrology 'us Taureans' are stubborn to a fault!
Yes, i love arabic music, same as i love arabic films. In both cases though, i know many artists 'by sight' only! Here's some i know by name too. Mostaffa Amor, i saw him in person in a shop one day! Hesham Arbas, Nancy Agram, Mai Hariri, Amr Diab, (Ruby, even tho she's equivalent to *beep* Spears! lol,) but i like her! Oh! i like tons more, but don't know names, sorry.
I love Alex so much, don't think about going elsewhere! Maybe Sharm or luxor i suppose, if i get the urge.
Sports? Anything where i feel "the burn" especially in the abbs area, love it! Must keep fit, its an impulse for me!!!
Yes, family will come for holidays. The "culture shock" would be an education for them!
Greatest Influence? Allah, my parents, especially my Father, who was such an avant - garde thinker and a free spirit.
Favourite book? Oh! iv'e got so many! Genre, Mainly underground political.
Well the book is An Anti-U.K. Government one tee! hee! But its written by a journalist from "The Guardian" English Newspaper, and he backs up his facts with evidence and source!!! I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in discovering the truth, not published in the "Daily Tabloids"
Tittle: Captive State, THE CORPORATE TAKE OVER OF BRITAIN. Author George Monbiot. Publisher. (Macmillan. 2000) or (Pan books 2001) International Standard Book Number I.S.B.N. 0 - 330 - 36943 - 1
Ok put me in the kitchen with any ingredients and usually i manage to create something edible, often delicious! lol. But i don't do dishes hamdullilah for the dishwasher! lol.
I stumbled upon YE whilst "surfing around"
Now i got some for u Winky hehee! Have i got the job? an wots the salary? lol. |
