OK, hedge.......it's your turn in the spotlight

If you moved to Egypt, what would you miss about England?

What's your very earliest memory?

Do you speak any other languages?

Will you come and do my ironing for me?

Quote: next question........why Japanese?

1... because I am dyslexic....my parents would not acknowledge the fact

2...teachers at school said I would be no good at office work, but did not explain why..

So..I set myself a challenge Arabic or Japanese........Japanese won.....when you look at a Japanese word....you say what you see, its easier than people think

:) Hedge, I'll understand..if this is too personal but...
When you met your man on line ..
After he send you his photo ... what was your INSTANT reaction ??
Did you love his looks or did you think ...hummm have to get used to him ???
And Hedge, do you regret choosing Japanese as your challenge and not Arabic ??

I saw him on cam the first time we chatted
He had been working 'nights' as he was then a manager of an internet cafe. So, he looked a bit rough....unshaven....and he was quite dark skined.
I didn't believe his opening 'chat up' line, I thought he was just joking....like so many who chat on line.

Its very strange about the language....I did try the Arabic...but found it so difficult that I went for Japanese. But something.... I think was telling me then that I would need Arabic

:) OK forgive my ignorance but this means that you saw his face before you had ever communicated with him ??
And you thought wow I like him ?? Love at first sight ? Or did you have to get used to his looks?

PS No need to answer this :) if uncomfortable)

How do you see your life in Egypt will you work again ?
Maybe start a business with your love?
Very personal questions but they do interest me .

Winky.....He came up on messenger, then after chatting for about 10 mins he asked If I had a cam. I said yes...but he had to put his on first.....I had been caught out before...
I could not see him properly as it was dark in the room, but I could tell that his skin was dark, and I thought his hair was curly...which it is not
I had no particular thoughts either way about him, I just thought we would chat and see how things developed. I had no thought that things would develop
I have got used to him now and he is very handsome, with a lovely smile.
He does not want me to work when I come to Egypt, but I have my TEFEL certificate, so I can teach English as a second language. He understands and is in agreement, says it is up to me.

Wow, people, so fast, unbelievable!

What do you Hedgy want yourself? Why should you follow his lead and listen to what he says what you should do? Isn't too much to take?
