Oh...YES YES YESSS!!! This is definitely a thread I can relate to!

I work in the medical devices industry, so we have lots of legal and regulatory issues we have to deal with every single day, and this is when I come in. I have a science background, so I have a very extensive knowledge of our products. I also have managerial and legal training, so I've got the good mix going. My problem is with my boss.

She's an anal, paranoid, schizophrenic individual. She's also sweet. She's incredibly difficult to work with, since most people want to smash her head in yet they can't.

Dilemma.

I was miserable at one point in another place where I worked a few years ago.. ..There was this woman that used to make me do all her work and at the time I used to be too kind..and help her out zay el 3abeeta...until one day I snapped out of it.. so..whenever she would give work to do ( she used to take credit for it) I used to copy everything and send the work to her Boss with my name he he he...
that changed things around that office let me tell you!!

So Monica, what do you do if your immediate supervisor takes credit for your work? I write these beautiful legal arguments that we use in court, and the general country manager never knows it's me who won us the litigation

Allah allah allah!!!!you duplicate your work ya 7elwa and send it to him or hand it to him 3einy 3einak...in other words if it is YOUR work show him...
document your work ..email him copies kida...
Actually the best way is to write your immediate superv. a note here is the work blabla and attach it and BCC the general manager as simple as that!!

batates..
here it goes:

Translation: 1 page= 30 minutes translation 15 minutes editing minimum...=45 minutes a page and that is QUICK...

if you are experienced and if you are talking about 500 words per page and if you have your lexicon and not just your brain...

If your Boss has no idea..TELL him to call the AUC..translation dept and ask them how long it takes to translate 500 words/1 page!!!

Seriously I am counting the days until I go back to work (not in the very near future though!). Not that I want to feel bored at the office or I am longing for unfriendly collegues - but just to work again, having my own desk from 9 to 5, meeting many people, making many phone calls and own money ......... ah ah ah I want to work!
