| Any one knows much about the great library of Alexandria? Who was responsible for the fire? What kind o information wealth was lost due to that fire? |

| The claim I have always read was that the Romans under Julis Cesar burned down the library. I believe also the Christain population of Alexzandria killed many prominent philsophers like Hypathia. |
