She has not been as active as I wished..but i could detect a great sense of humour and a sense of self worth...in my book she is a lady...
so for today's interview...the lady is yours for questions!!!
CG:
1- When was the last time you were in egypt and did you meet interesting men then with a potential for the future?
2- Having lived out of Egypt ..what do you think if you meet the right man..will you go back to Egypt or not?? |

Sorry people Ive been crazy busy... but Im back for now
1. I was in egypt last in the summer of 2001, and since i don't get to see my family who reside in egypt that often I try to spend as much time as i can with my teta, uncles, aunts and cousins, we travel everywhere, go to the red sea, mediterranean and just spend quality time... I didn't meet any guys.. not even by chance, although in sharm the nasty lil janitor kept on knocking the room door when he knew well that i was in there since I had just gotten back from the beach.. I dunno what that was about????????
2. I love Egypt a lot and I love to visit, I speak arabic and all that. If I do meet someone though I doubt I will be able to go to egypt and live there permanently because even though life in the US isn't all great there are some comforts and habits that I have gotten used to that are not so easy to implement in Egypt. In NY i can leave my house hop on the train go anywhere walk on the street at night and think nothing of it... In egypt I dont have that freedom. Here also at work... there is a lot more equality between the sexes.. I work with a few egyptian men and they seem to have this stinky attitude that some of the work is stricktly to be taken care of by the girls.. but u know what, I make it clear that I dont tolerate that.. I think in Egypt that would be really hard. But I love Egypt and always will maintain a home there. I like being between to worlds... it creates a neat balance |

Hey CG...nice to finally see you again..was wondering if you got married or something strange like that  ...
i like your answers..and about the nasty little janitor that was knocking at your door...was he young and handsome or old and wicked??? just curious as they do have a business on the side and may have mistaken you for a rich foreigner??? who knows what goes on the mind of people that are in teh SUN for too long
About Freedom in Egypt...it certainly varies...from one person to another...
Some do not care about what people think and lead their life exactly like in NY or else...
Even in Canada...some North American DUDES think that us dudettes, are perfect only for making coffee and stirring it actually ...so i can imagine that working around some Egyptian men could be a bit hectic for an intelligent woman...
So suppose you meet the man that would have the same mentality as yours do you min dif he is not egyptian?
and living in NY has probably taught you a lot in terms of independance would you give it all up for LOOOVE??? |

| hmmm, well its kinda funny,... a man with the same kind of mentality as mine hmm???? Well, If you had asked me this a while ago.. then i would have said I def don't mind.a non-egyptian.. but the older I get the more i start to realize that I don't want to raise confused children so in a sense I'd prefer to be attached to a normal openmided egyptian guy or even a guy of another arabic nation since cultures vary slightly... but the clashing cultures thing is not very wise. Giving it all up for love.. is one thing i def disagree with. If i do fall in love then the person that Im in love with, if he is in fact in love with me should value my comfort above it all. Plus that flighty chemical love feeling fizzles and there has to be something really genuine there when its all done for you to continue a fruitful relationship and i dont want to regret anything that my heart will make me do in a moment when my mind was being held captive. |

I agree about that chemical feeling that fizzles..and I keep thinking that part time marriage/relatiosnhip is the best arrangement..two different countries,,long dustance and meet a few times a year ..ideal!!
seruiously where do you meert potential partners that are serious.. in New York?? |

Well well well, rounnnnnnnnnnd two.
Monica, trust me you can hardly meet potential serious decent males in NYC.
Luana, on my day off which is only once a week, I basically catch up on cleaning, laundry and of course SHOPPING, Im a certified shopaholic and there is no cure. Bottom line is i like to spoil myself... hell if nobody is going to do it.. I might aswell (jokes).
I like jazz, R&B and some hiphop.. depends of course what kind of mood Im in.. I also dont mind some insipriational music like Josh Grobin etc..
Hmmm what would a perfect man look like.. I tend to be drawn to men who are attractive but dont know it... coz the handsome ones that walk around knowing that they are handsome are such a turn off. Some guys are just cute without making any effort and of course personality factors into handsomeness... the funner more genuine personality will come across as more attractive...mish keda? |

A question here:
Why did you choose Copticgoddess as your nickname? |
