Always use little salt.. If I ever add more salt than I should, I just put a Potatos inside whatever I am cooking- should absorb the salt.

| Forgot to mention.. if you marinate meat/chicken/fish with chicken stock or Soya sauce or Westershire sauce... no need to add salt during cooking.. just add to taste while being served. |

Add pepper at the end after it is cooked...is what I do... If too much pepper is added while cooking it could become too hot./spicey to the palate..
About salt, the potato jaguar mentioned is what I also do when there is a sauce for example ...it works like magic..

I always use alot of pepper - I like it very spicy.
I hardly ever use salt - there is enough in food. |

Both - I put some in while cooking - then more after just for me. My friends might not like it as spicy as I do. |

what is your favourite international hot food??
I like hot and spicey too but within limits...I find that Asians have some hot stuff that is tooo hot for example, and that makes the lips have an instant puffy look and so painful for a while...

I like Rogan Josh Chicken - spicy. I like it when I cannot feel my lips.
We have an Indian Restaurant at the Hotel so I eat there alot.
I also have my pizza spicy at La Mamma's in the Hotel - I eat there at least once a week when I have friends staying. |

No.. I wouldn't add pepper after cooking.. it is lighter during the process.
Try adding pepper to your rice while simmering. Always use white pepper.
Laura... I am dying to know.. was it Mesteka after all???? |
