I would forget all my normal commitments, max my credit and debit card, and take my daughters on a spending spree without telling them why. They would have to bunk work of course. would not want to spend too much time travelling. Maybe would go go karting with them, -perhaps ten pin bowling, something that is not a spectater sport but is fun to do with others involved. Of course have a really great dinner with them...but I would not know where to ensure a perfect dining place so would ask my sister to find one while I was out and make the reservations for me. Of course in the evening we would rock and roll in one of their favourite places and then as the 24 hour period drew to an end they bothwould hopefully be anaesthetised enough to hear my demise. we would spend the last 2 hours preparing. I think it would be expediant to then remember things already done, what has been learned from it and how it will help to cope with the future.

I would have no idea how best to say goodbye.

I'd probably run around having a tidy up  then I'd tell all the people I love that I love them and say I'm sorry for being a moody cow while I was alive  and maybe I'd leave letters for people, my son and my daughter, saying meaningful things and telling them all I'd found out about life and people, that would take about two minutes :smt089

Then I'd plan my funeral and choose the music and what I was going to wear and I'd decide who was going to get the things that are precious to me to save any arguments.

I was going to say, then I'd probably open a bottle of vodka and work my way through it, but on second thoughts, I think I'd like to leave the world the way I came into it......completely sober and aware of everything that was happening.

So then, I'd probably just have a last cuddle with my husband and say a few prayers that I wasn't going to the place for bad people

Thanks for replying. I really was asking myself this question. And I was like frozen, I couldnt find an answer to this question actually.

But I guess I have

Writing letters to each member of my family, close friends and YE.

Then I will go pay all the money I have to the Orphanage in my city. Then I will spend the rest of the day with my father ( I will not tell him that this is my last day) . And in the last 4 hours I will spend them praying and Reading in The holy Qura'an untill my time to go!

I guess that's ok for me. I will be satisfied 8)

I was just reading today in one of the Sunday mags an interview with a woman who's written a book for people preparing for either their own death, or the death of one of their loved ones....

She's calling herself a 'soul midwife' bcs she says, people prepare themselves for a birth, they should prepare themselves for death too.

Maybe she's right, dunno :? but this is a bit depressing........
