Oh okay, sorry for the flash of temper.
Yes this stupid female was walking on the coral. Now I am sitting doing my 'mantra' at my desk convincing myself that today is going to be a calm day. No throwing a hissy fit when the guys who sit nearest the printer sends 300 pages to it without making sure it is filled with paper. No throwing a hissy fit when our machine runs out of water and our office boys are sitting on their bums smoking. No throwing a hissy fit when the stupid Destination Manager asks a totally moronic question.

Okay that is me calm.

Everyone have a good day.

Thanks for asking, Roughshod :smt058 I was just feeling a bit depressed and whiny earlier........ :smt022

I'd just come in from school, we don't officially start back until Monday but I wanted to just kind of break myself in and get my classroom ready for my new class..

Why I was depressed and whiny is, we've been pretty much working in a building site for months now, they've been re-roofing and re-glazing and re-everything and we've been working in the middle of all the hammering and banging and sawing and everything and that was quite difficult, trying to hold kids' attention with all that going on...

So today I went in, hoping that it would all be pretty much finished only it's worse than ever, they've been rewiring over the holidays and I could hardly even find my ******* classroom never mind anything in it, and I've spent the day shoving furniture around and lifting boxes, and everything's covered in an inch of dust, it's a mess and how it's going to be ready for next week I do NOT know :?:

Then I came home and the phone rang and it was my brother, I love my brother and he is a lovely man, his wife's a bit of a pain in the a*se :smt077 but he's a really nice big brother.........but God, I thought it was supposed to be women who could talk forever about nothing much.......

So it wasn't such a good day but I'm OK now, had my little moan, thank you for listening :P

Good Morning Everyone,
Well it is Friday, I am in a good mood because I am having tomorrow AND Sunday off. More of that later.

Hedgehog - Those jackets/fleeces/t-shirts with Hurghada written on them seem to be seen all over the world now. So if all these people are visiting Egypt, how come my numbers are down?

You lucky beast going to Amsterdam. I loved the place. it was just so clean and the people so friendly and helpful. Did I ever tell you that we visited there for New Year once. I thought I would give Mr. C a look at the Red Light District. Guess what - it was closed! He swears I took him there on the 1st deliberately. I didn't honest.

Moll - Oh you poor thing. The last thing you need to be doing is shifting furniture and trying to clean up the mess. Don't you have a janitor that is supposed to do that sort of things.

Okay my 'vacation' day tomorrow is going to be spent baking. I have an order for 6 chicken and sweetcorn pies, 6 steak and mushroom pies, 1 Apple and Fruit cake (they call it English cake), 1 dozen Peanut Butter Thumbprint Cookies and 1 dozen Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies.

Sunday we are going to take our dog to the beach, he love swimming and then i suppose I will have to give him a shower afterwards to get all the salt off his coat.

Roll on 6 o'clock so I can go home.

I'll have two of each, please

We DO have a janitor, but he's so busy sorting out the general areas he doesn't have time to help out in the classrooms......

I can't believe 7 weeks have gone so fast  not that I'm expecting any sympathy, I know I'm lucky to get that much time off....my sister is not normally a violent person but when I start moaning about going back to work she can get quite vicious

Anyway........ :smt022

Consider 2 of the pies yours Moll. Saturday went great, pastry a treat. I had to roll the pastry and fill the pies in the spare bedroom with the air-con going full blast, but it worked. Cakes rose well and tasted delic.

Sunday - a disaster. I said I would go out for a bit of shopping by myself.
We needed a big conainer of water for our machine. The guy tried to rip me off. Across for my vegetables, no red or yellow peppers and the green ones were old wizened things - a bit like me.
Okay on to the next area, putty and mastik. No putty or mastik.
Finally went to get my newspaper and magazine - woman closed until the 19th.

So of everything I tried to get I ended up with tomatoes and water.
One of those days when I should just have stayed at home.
When I got in I said to Mr. C right there are going to be a few expletive deletives here and told him the story. Sit and have a drink of water he said! Water? I think it was something stronger than water I should have had.

Harrison, the frustration of collecting stores from known places that supply them, in the mindset of a foodplan in ones mind, to find the ingrediants are not available is way frustrating. How is an artist who paints one's own life supposed to suffer these irregularites. I say the embeciles who lacked the foresight should be tied down and made to eat brussel sprouts.

Oh God I absolutely detest Brussels Sprouts!

Sorry haven't been on for a while but really been snowed under with complaints!

How about this one folks - The sand on the beach wasn't really sandy. There was no coral and no fish to be seen.

We can't quite decide whether to supply fish in batter, sushi, breaded or just plain fried!
