Are you competitive?
I'm not really, or if I am I'm in competition against myself :oops:
What made me wonder is, tomorrow's our sports day and nowadays, we don't do the old races and things we used to do bcs it means there are winners and there are poor little sods that are going to come in last :roll: we do things like team games where OK, it team building and everything, but there are no winners or losers, really....
In a way I think it's unfair, there are children who are just not academic and never get the chance to shine in the classroom....but they might be really good at running or whatever and it means they just don't get their chance to feel a sense of achievement and pride in themselves in front of their peers.
Any thoughts, anybody........ |
