might as well call it that..
Sometimes I think I must be a complete hypocrite
I always said that one of the reasons I love Egypt is the life in the streets bcs here it's dead  but a family moved in near us a year or two ago and I feel like opening the window and shouting, SHUT THE **** UP  the kids scream, the dog barks, and at the moment, they're out in the garden and their radio is playing, Yes Sir, I can Boogie    |

And another reason why I think I might be a hypocrite...
I always thought I didn't judge people by how they look or speak :?
But today I was shopping with my daughter, we were in a queue at the checkout in the chemists behind a couple of MORONS  |

Well, I'm trying to think how to describe them without sounding like a raving snob :? but i'll try....
Hedgehog, you know this part of the world, you know how after spending the winter permanently wrapped up in woollies, people go mad at the first blink of sunshine? they strip off and expose all that white, pasty skin that hasn't seen daylight since last summer, and they walk around like they think they're on the beach at Marbella? middle aged women who should know better if they had a mirror in their house, dress like they're 18 year olds, only they haven't got the body or the face of an 18 year old, and nobody really wants to see their wobbly bits? and they think if they put on orange fake tan and a baseball cap, they're really really cool and everybody's going to think, wow  and I DID think, wow
OK now for him
Same sort of age, shaved head, earrings, sleeveless vest and what I think should be a criminal offence for any man over about 30, cutoff shell suit bottoms
But the thing is, they were standing there arguing about the change from £1 and the assistant was being very VERY patient, then finally the woman says, I can't count because they never had calculators in my day :geek:
I really can't put my finger on exactly WHY they annoyed me so much, God knows it wasn't an unusual sight, it's the same every summer...... |

And now, to continue with my blog with a personal tribute to my sister.
Today, I met her for lunch 8) and every day, I thank God for her....we are so much on the same wavelength, there are so many things we laugh about because of shared experiences but everybody else goes  we talk about everything from families to clothes to politics to religion to gossip to the BRILLIANT holidays we're going to have when we stop working, she's my little treasure and I'm so lucky to have her 8) |

I watched a programme on TV a week or so ago, it was called Embarrassing Bodies. It was on every night for a week, different topic every night, but the only one I saw was about vaginas and I was really quite happy to see that I am normal, and I DO mean to see   honestly
It was about a team of doctors who went around different cities setting up their surgery and talking people into coming in and being interviewed/examined in public, on TV
But what I couldn't really understand was, when they were asked WHY they hadn't gone to their own doctors, WHY they'd put up with whatever the 'embarrassing' problem was, they all said, I was too embarrassed......and yet, when they were told to strip off and jump on the couch and show everything to millions of viewers, they said, OK, no problem :thumleft:
People are very strange sometimes.......... |

Well.......I can understand if they have something that they're really proud of, if they have a fantastic body or something and maybe they 'get off' on showing it off :? or maybe just being watched is a turnon for them, I don't know..
But the people on that programme, they were showing off their most intimate NOT right bits, I mean they were talking about incontinence and genital deformities and that kind of thing....who in their right mind would want millions of people to know that about them? seems really weird to me.. |

Well what's even worse are the ones who don't have anything to show off, but think they do. And they like to walk around nude. I knew someone who did that. I had to tell him that he is waay too skinny and that he needs to eat more! |

| I don't understand how the government of Myanmar/Burma can turn away aid for the hundreds of thousands of their people who will die if they don't get it, I don't understand that at ALL. |
