| --- Tne jews say GODS name is YAHWEH---the HINDUS say krishna or brahma, vishnu or shiva---the muslims say ALLAH---others say I AM--- so which one is it ?---ALLAH/KRISHNA/YAHWEH, or I AM--or neither ? ? ? |

All those names mean God...it is just the language that is different.....so I don't see what you are getting at................. |

So just call GOD and that is it - whatever it is in a person's language.
So if John is said different ways in different languages but everybody still means john, and we know it, what is the problem? if John did not say his name was john, and everybody calls him whatever it is in his/her language, but still means John, what is the problem? there is not. It is like everybody calls "SUN" different names in different languages, and SUN did not pick one way of being called and did not announce what it should be called in all languages, but we all know what it is, do you have a problem with that?
I think this topic has been exhausted in full length. I hope Patrick you agree with it. |

There is only One God and it doesn't matter what different languages call him.
As far as I recall how it goes with names of Humans; John(English)= johannes( German)=yohanna(Arabic)=Jean(French)
Or Paul(English)=Paulo(Spanish)=Boles(Arabic) |

| The posts above basically agree that there is only one GOD and he can be called by different names according to the language of the country right ?... okay ! so i believe that there is only one GOD and that his name is YAHWEH, has anyone any difficulty with that ? :-) |
