It's not just petrol, it's everything :twisted: I just bought a loaf of bread, £1.55 :shock: 15LE......just for an ordinary loaf, none of your fancy stuff.

There have been various electrical inventions, attempts at plug in cars. One in UK and U.S too I seem to remember. They don't seem to have left much of an impression or alternative means of transport, so far.

The one in the UK fell flat on its face, years ago. Now there's Renault's, soon to be electric, Megane.

So, maybe we'll plug in and charge cars, just like cell phones or mobiles in the future....

I haven't used my driver's license for 5 years, but remember a German, university lecturer in the UK. Proudly announcing to us, as students that he'd given up his car in support of his beliefs. As the pollution he felt needed to be addressed. To little too late, I thought at the time. I used to love driving in the UK. Still never attempted right hand driving, as yet.
