Actually, your first impression on entering the tomb, at least for me, was to realize how small it was! And then also the lack of much wall painting. There's only a few paintings--the most impressionable was that of Aye and the "Opening Of The Mouth" ceremony.
To realize his mummy is there is rather a strange feeling, too. I understand it can now be seen. Then, it could not--only his outer coffin in the sarcophagus, which is covered with glass. Of course, it was quite empty. All of the treasures found in the tomb have been taken to Cairo. I'm not sure how much of the tomb is open to the public now. |

| Osiris2, it surprised me that you resurrected a topic from so way back, especially since you found the enclosure rather small and not all that interesting. However, you mentioned the mummified body was still there, but not in the sarcophagus? |
