The sound of deep bass underlining the vibrant lead guitar with a synthesizor filling in with ethererael notes, the drummer punctuating the mix with a frenzied but ordered energy while the singer in a sultry and sometimes wild voice brings the magic of heavy metal into a soul wrenching harmony to what seems unordered into lyrics that perhaps explain the disorder of our feelings at times.
Yet, there are more that like less hectic music, that can be classed as soothing and less demanding. And of course romantic.
Do you think there is music for different moods, or do you have a favourite genre that just suits who you are |

Yes, definitely :smt035
And not only that, I think music can alter your moods.....it can cheer you up, it can make you sad, it can make you patriotic, it can bring back memories, it can make you :smt047, it can be very emotive. |

Yes Moll, music seems to define who we are by what we listen too perhaps. What we listen too is like that old adage, we are defined by the friends we keep. What type of music in your view would define a person who is empty and devoid of life? I do not have an answer to that question myself.
I suppose a person with an interest in life, would find certain kinds of music stimulating. I would suppose that a person who has gone through the wars of life and uncertain of who they are, would also find certain genres ofmusic interesting.
I am just posting here because you answered this topic Moll. I have no idea how to make this topic of worthwhile interest.
Hope you are keeping well Moll. cya |
