If you are a foreigner - how many close Egyptian friends do you have?
If you are Egyptian - how many foreign friends do you have?
Do you find it easy to communicate |

I have lots of Egyptian friends. Buy none I would say were close.
As their way of thinking is not the same as a westerners way of thinking.
They get upset easily because of this...... :x As often they take things the wrong way.... |

well, it applies to other cultures as well Hedge. I used to have dutchmen living next door to me on another farm and I was friends with their son. the mother was dutch and a very industrious person that seemed very hard hearted and soft hearted in a way if that is possible. seemed very guarded and seemed like emotions was just water off a ducks back.
Now I have a neighboring dutch woman who cannot understand anything but dutch and afrikaans with a husband that is english(I would assume he knows afrikaans or dutch or both), and she too seems to be soft and hard hearted almost multitasking the two. |
