Gamal Mubarak, the politician son of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, will marry on April 28 and the wedding party will take place on May 4, the independent newspaper Al Masry Al Youm reported on Monday.

His fiancee is Khadiga Mahmoud el-Gammal, the daughter of a wealthy building contractor, and they have been engaged since early 2006. Gamal Mubarak, 43, is almost 20 years older than Khadiga, who was born in 1982.

Congrats and good Luck to them.
I wish them a long and happy life together.
She is a very good looking woman.
The age is not a problem, personally I prefer an older man
for a woman, than an older woman, younger man.
I wish them great happiness

Can't believe he's a year old already, eg.....the time goes past so quickly when they're young, dreamcatcher's right about making the most of it.

Anyway........how did they meet, Gamal Mubarak and whatever her name is? was it one of those 'it wouldn't have happened if she'd been unsuitable' kind of things, or was he free to make up his own mind and just announce that it was happening?

EasternG, my daughters just grew up way to quickly.my eldest once set my lounge suite on fire, I still remember her eyes at what lighting a match can do(ok, I came into the the lounge just as she had lit it and she dropped it onto the lounge suite she was sitting in.................it was only a small burn actually...If i had not walked in, she quite likely would have burnt her fingers first an then the lounge suite ;). I remember my younger daugher when I took her for a swim aged less than one year, and pulled her under the water, I remember her holding her breathe and calmly looking around her, her eyes stayed open under the water.

I taught both my daughters to swim at the age of 2 years old. And my eldest saved her cousin from drowning once almost at the exspense of her own life........but she managed to stay afloat .

Children can be wild and wicked, they can drive grown people up the wall of madness, but if one is a good parent to them, they are just an exstension of oneself, when one was weak and young, with hope in ones eyes. EG, you seem to be a wonderfull parent to make that hope glow and finally burst into a warmth of fullfilled promise. Congratulations on the first year of your newborn.

 :D  They are so precious when they are babies, in a wink
of an eye they grow up. I am now a granny awaiting, but my
kids are not married yet, and in no hurry to get married. I cannot
wait to be a gran then it will be pay back time for my kids,
because I will spoil my grandchildren rotten. :D
