Is it possible to have a completely "bad" time? I don't think so. Some things might go wrong, but seeing a new place and meeting new people always erase the "bad" parts from our minds.
I have had some very uncomfortable times in certain climates. Borneo and the Amazon have very sticky, rainy weather with too many insects. And sometimes, a person can become ill when traveling, and that is miserable.
Still, the joy of seeing new parts of the world make the "bad" memories fade. For myself, at least. |
